- B DENARDIS Added 2018-02-24★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Don't go without an appointment! Absolutely the worst ServiceOntario I have ever had to visit. You have to pick up your new vehicle permit in person. (I recently did this at an excellent ServiceOntario in Pickering.) I arrived mid morning today and as I didn't have an appointment I took a number. I had number 25 and they were serving #2. It was 10 minutes before they called #3. Only 1 kiosk serving those without an appointment. It would have taken hours to get service. btw there is no one there to give you an appointment. So I left without my new vehicle permit and (insult to injury) had to pay $2 for parking.
